African Violets
moderately bright light (diffused sunlight) is preferred. Near a sunny window but not exposed to direct sunlight.
Good drainage is essential. Violets prefer to be watered from below, so place them in a saucer with water when dry and let them drink from the roots. Water on the leaves can cause spotting.
They like to be warm 70-72 degrees daytime 68-70 night time.
Lack of flowering is usually caused by low light.
